New Kid On The Block: Oldest Trick In The Book?

Back in 1990, Donnie Wahlberg came through on a promise to make his little brother Mark Wahlberg a household name. He put together a band: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch and gave Mark a shot at some of the New Kids On The Block fame. Mark broke out the box with the first single, "Good Vibrations" and shot to number one on the billboard charts, selling 500,000 copies (gold status) and growing to sell over one million copies (platinum status) for Inerscope Records. Mark's second single, "Wild Side" went gold and the album went triple platinum. Both the album's hits were penned by yours truly. Donnie and I had a deal to split publishing three ways on certain songs. In most contracts, as in ours, I'm also supposed to see the books and records of Donnie's account of the MECHANICAL ROYALTIES which were paid from Warner-Tamerlane Publishing. After almost 9 years of not seeing the books, and asking Donnie's accountant, Rose Cortina to show the books,
