    "I want to address something that’s been in the news over the last couple of days, and that’s the last situation in Ferguson, Missouri. I know that many Americans have been deeply disturbed by the images we’ve seen in the heartland of our country as police have clashed with people protesting, today I’d like us all to take a step back and think about how we’re going to be moving forward.  This morning, I received a thorough update on the situation from Attorney General Eric Holder, who’s been following and been in communication with his team. I’ve already tasked the Department of Justice and the FBI to independently investigate the death of Michael Brown, along with local officials on the ground. Mom commits suicide in front of Semi-Trailer after death of infant

  A 20-year-old Canton woman killed herself after her 1-year-old son was found dead by police.    According to a news release, Kayelisa Martin ran into traffic on I-77 north near Milepost 115 shortly after police were called to 1628 10th St. N.E.  to check on a suicidal person around 7:30 Thursday evening. When officers and medics arrived, they found Omo Gonzalez dead inside the apartment. Officers started searching for the mother of the infant when they were notified by Summit County Sheriff's Office that the infant's mother had committed suicide by walking in front of a vehicle on I-77 at milepost 115. The Sheriff's Office told NewsChannel5 a semi-truck was involved in the incident. According to a report by the CantonRep.com , police said the infant's death appears suspicious.         With the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri sparking heated debates nationwide, Universal Zulu Nation member and Minister Of Information Quadeer "M.C. Young Black men have been murdered by policeman for years, and many community leaders and members nationwide are demanding a change in police policy. Anonymous hacks Ferguson police dispatch tapes

Computer hackers associated with the hacktivist group Anonymous released a recording on YouTube Wednesday that are audio files from a St. Louis County Police dispatch recorded during the Aug. 9 shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. The tape is from St. Louis County dispatch — but the officer who fired the shots works for Ferguson's police department. Los Angeles Police shoots and kills man in struggle

By Larry Altman , Daily Breeze    Police officers who stopped a man walking along a South Los Angeles street shot and killed him during a struggle, police said Tuesday. The man’s identity was not immediately available, and police did not have information on whether he was armed. The shooting occurred about 8:20 p.m. Monday on West 65th Street between Broadway and Main Street when Los Angeles Police Department Newton Division officers tried to stop the man for questioning, said Officer Sally Madera of the agency’s media relations office.
