Suge Knight's Murder Charges; the REAL Story

Image
Terry Carter (left) and Suge Knight (right) Cle "Bone" Slone Suge Knight turned himself in to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s West Hollywood station early Friday after authorities named him as a person of interest in the death of Terry Carter, 55. Another man, Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51, also was injured in Thursday's incident, sheriff's officials said. It's reported that Sloan is the person who initiated the fight. Hours earlier, Knight and Sloan had been arguing at the set of a promo for the biopic “Straight Outta Compton,” sheriff's officials said. Deputies asked Knight to leave, but the dispute continued, said Lt. John Corina, of the sheriff's Homicide Division. Twenty minutes later, at Tam’s Burgers at Central and East Rosecrans avenues, Sloan confronted Knight, who was seated in his Ford F-150 Raptor. The dispute escalated into a fist fight, Corina said. Knight then reversed his truck and struck Sloan, knocking him to the groun

Human remains found in suitcase on San Francisco sidewalk

Image
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - San Francisco police on Wednesday discovered human body parts stuffed inside a suitcase that had been ditched on the sidewalk of a downtown street, officials said. Police closed off blocks around the package around 4:15 p.m. and found more remains after searching the area, police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan said in a statement. The city medical examiner confirmed that the remains were human, but could not determine whether they belonged to one person or multiple victims, Gatpandan said. Police are seeking a person of interest in the case, but declined to release information on the suspect as the homicide investigation was ongoing. A "suspicious package" report yesterday afternoon led San Francisco police to a wheeled suitcase filled with dismembered human body parts in the city's South of Market neighborhood, just blocks from the headquarters of Twitter, Uber, and other high-tech companies. CNN reported on the

Jesse Ventura says 'American Sniper' fake; Kyle is no hero

Image
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — " American Sniper " is tops at the box office but don't expect to see former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura lining up at a theater for it. Ventura, a former Navy SEAL, won $1.8 million in a defamation lawsuit last year against the estate of the late Chris Kyle, the SEAL protagonist of the movie, which has sparked debate over whether snipers should be considered heroes. Ventura said Wednesday he won't see the film partly because Kyle is no hero to him. "A hero must be honorable, must have honor. And you can't have honor if you're a liar. There is no honor in lying," Ventura told The Associated Press from his winter home in Baja California, Mexico. He also noted that the movie isn't playing there. Ventura also dismissed the movie as propaganda because it conveys the false idea that Iraq had something to do with the 9/11 attacks. "It's as authentic as 'Dirty Harry,'" he s

Planned Parenthood school sex-ed teachers sex-toy instructor and 'pleasure activist' on the side

Image
Parents with students at one California high school recently learned that two Planned Parenthood employees who taught their impressionable children sex education also held down some controversial side jobs. One of the sex-ed instructors at Acalanes Union High School in Lafayette also taught a class on sex toys at a nearby shop while the other identified herself as a 'pleasure activist' on her now-deleted Twitter profile. The job history of the two teachers was revealed after parents learned about the school's partnership with Planned Parenthood and demanded the curriculum be changed. Some of the parents felt that Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides complimentary reproductive and women's health services, was actually encouraging their children to start having sex.  Two Planned Parenthood workers who taught sex-education at Acalanes High School in Lafayette,  California are being criticized for their controve

COBB COUNTY, Ga. —Police have released the scene, but the investigation continues after police said a mother killed three children, and then killed herself. Cobb County police identified the mother as Kisha Holmes, of Austell. They did not release the names of the children, but said the victims were a 9-month-old girl, a 4-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy. A frantic 911 call led police to the Walton Crossing Apartments in Austell. Police said a maintenance man found the bodies. "I actually heard him running down the steps, but I just heard him say, 'Maintenance man, maintenance man,'" said neighbor Reshaun Johnson. Johnson could tell the maintenance man saw something he didn't like. "My understanding he was going in for routine maintenance, something to do with the air ducts, the vents and when he went in he discovered the bodies of multiple people inside," said Sgt. Dana Pierce, with the Cobb County Police Department. Cobb Cou

Singer Mya performs at Strip Club [VIDEO]

Image
Back in the late ‘90s through early 2000s, Mya was one of the hottest triple-threats in the R&B game — she could act, dance and sing. Not only that, she was every man’s fantasy thanks to King magazine. But a recent video of her dancing in a strip club has shocked some of her fans.   Mya was performing her hit songs and dancing at G5ive, a popular strip club in Miami. If you watch the video, the R&B songstress’ dancing skills are not as impressive as her footwork in the ‘My Love Is Like…Wo‘ video.   When the video surfaced online, reactions were mixed with fans supporting Mya earning a living, while others are saddened that their favorite R&B singer has fallen from grace. Former ‘106 & Park’ host Bow Wow, also took some shots at Mya and Twitter fans quickly reminded him of the mistakes he’s made as of late. Five Things You Need to Do to Prep Your Car for Winter

Image
Winter commutes are uncomfortable, but they can also be dangerous if you don't prepare. From using the right tires to having emergency gear for being stranded, here are some things you can do to prep your car for winter. Grab a Set of Winter Tires Most of us fear losing control of our car while driving during the winter . The video above from Auto Express presents a real world comparison of winter and summer tires. Winter tires are built with a rubber compound that stays pliable in cold weather , which causes enhanced traction. The video shows that you'll have better control should you need to stop or maneuver quickly to avoid an accident. Summer tires, on the other hand, take far longer to stop, and often skid during a quick maneuver. Unlike winter tires, summer tires are made from a harder, more durable rubber, so they last longer. However, winter tires are safer in snowy weather. Whether you have two-wheel or all-wheel drive , the first thing you should do

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Blasts O'Reilly: 'It Feels Good' To Blame Muslims (VIDEO)

Image
By Brendan James Former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar waved off criticism from Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Sunday's "Meet The Press," defending his position that terror attacks in Paris were not primarily about religion. “It feels good to just blame the religion, but the causes go a lot deeper,” Abdul-Jabbar told host Chuck Todd , responding to O'Reilly's critique of the athlete's recent op-ed for TIME magazine. "When the Ku Klux Klan burn a cross in a black family’s yard, prominent Christians aren’t required to explain how these aren’t really Christian acts. Most people already realize that the KKK doesn’t represent Christian teachings. That’s what I and other Muslims long for," Abdul-Jabbar wrote in TIME . Todd rolled a clip of O'Reilly dismissing Abdul-Jabbar's argument. "Here's what Mr. Abdul-Jabbar is missing," O'Reilly explained. "Much of the Muslim world apparently does not under
