Comedian Katt Williams has been in the headlines for the past few weeks due to his crazy azz behavior. One of the most head-scratching incidents was Williams slapping a Sacramento Target employee. During a comedy show in Hollywood, Katt explained why he slapped the poor guy. According to Williams, the Target worker caught a pimp slap to the face because he called the actor the n-word. Williams told the Hollywood audience, “This is what the dude at Target said … ‘Your assistant is already suing you, you p**sy ass n***er.” Katt Williams’ former assistant filed a five million dollar lawsuit against him claiming he punched her. Williams went on to say he asked the guy if he actually called him the n-word. Once the Target employee confirmed what he said, Katt dared him to say it again and when the guy said it for the second time, Williams popped him in the face. Rapper “Fat Joe” pleaded guilty Thursday to failing to pay taxes on nearly $3 million in income he earned over two years for performances and music royalties. The platinum-selling artist, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, was once a Billboard chart topper with hits like the duet “What’s Luv” with the R&B singer Ashanti. Cartagena entered the plea in federal court in Newark because some of the companies he earned money from are incorporated in New Jersey. The 42-year-old Miami Beach resident entered pleas to two counts covering years 2007 and 2008. His sentencing will take into consideration the government’s initial allegation that he failed to pay income taxes for years 2007 through 2010. Federal prosecutors said the total tax loss to the government for those four years was $718,038. A five-year-old boy was beaten to death by his mother’s boyfriend because he mispronounced the word ‘sad’ during a home schooling session, according to police reports. The horrifying details surrounding the end of Dashawn Harris’ young life emerged in court on Wednesday. His mother Lashay Patterson, 23, and her 25-year-old boyfriend Christian Patrick (both seen below) were told they would be charged with first-degree murder. Every time the little boy stumbled over the ‘a’ sound in ‘sad’ at his Philadelphia home, Patrick would punch him or give him a lash with his belt, authorities said. Dashawn Harris was discovered by police in the early hours of December 1, his little body covered with bruises, cigarette burns and belt marks. He was already dead by the time the couple dialed 911. They had at one point attempted to warm his dying body by burning him with a hairdryer. They initially told police the boy had injured himse

Javaris Crittenton — ex-NBA star and accused murderer — is now being accused of slapping his baby mama in the face while she was breastfeeding their 1-day-old child. Crittenton has temporarily been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Tyress Daniels and their newborn son after she filed court docs outlining a pattern of domestic violence. In the docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Daniels claims JC attacked her on three separate occasions. The first incident allegedly took place when she was pregnant and he roughed her up in a hotel room. According to Daniels, the 2nd incident occurred at a hospital on Nov. 1 — less than 24 hours after she gave birth to their son. Daniels claims, “I was breastfeeding the baby and we got into an argument over what the baby would wear for pictures. Javaris hit me in the face while I was breastfeeding because he said I had a smart mouth.” Daniels claims Javaris tried to grab the baby and leave … but hospital security rus

The controversy over same-sex lifestyles is now going from legislatives floors to college classrooms. In 2013, Morehouse College will offer students the opportunity to enroll in a course on the history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Just a year ago, the historically black college found themselves under scrutiny for banning cross-dressing on campus. Several students felt the policy was directed towards LGBT students. According to the school’s newspaper, “The Maroon Tiger,” the course will explore the interrelation between the black experience and being LGBT. The class will also focus on key concepts such as Black feminism, methodology and critical cultural theory. The course syllabus identifies the study as “an interdisciplinary survey of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) culture and politics.” Administrators are hoping the new class will encourage Morehouse s

Facebook is tweaking its message filters, and the part getting all the attention is an experiment to see whether people would be willing to pay to send messages to those who aren’t friends. A small group of users will play with the system, and the fee will start out at $1 and get adjusted as needed. Facebook says it will help cut down on spam and provides this rationale: “For example, if you want to send a message to someone you heard speak at an event but are not friends with, or if you want to message someone about a job opportunity, you can use this feature to reach their inbox.” Paying the fee will ensure that the message gets there. Under the current setup, you could send it, but it would probably end up in the dreaded “other” folder. Few people even know it exists and rarely check it. As President Barack Obama spoke in Newtown, Conn., on Sunday night about the horrible tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, North Alabama football player Bradley Patterson thought the appropriate response was to tweet out a horribly racist comment about Obama. Dummy! And, in turn, North Alabama thought the appropriate response to that was to publicly tell everyone it had booted Patterson off the team. Thank you, North Alabama. As Obama mournfully spoke about the 26 victims of an attack on an elementary school, Patterson was apparently upset that NBC decided to show the president on its main network and temporarily move the Patriots-49ers game to CNBC and the NBC Sports Network. And he thought this was the way to express it… “Take that [expletive] off the tv, we wanna watch football!” Patterson, whose account has since been deleted, tweeted. His parents must be proud.  Investigators have yet to offer a motive for Adam Lanza’s deadly rampage, but a Newtown resident offers one theory to …Lanza lost it because his mother planned to commit him against his will. Joshua Flashman, the son of a Newtown pastor, says he has been told that Nancy Lanza was petitioning the court to get conservatorship over her son so she could then send him to a mental institution, and Adam was “really, really angry” about it. “I think this could have been it, what set him off.” Another resident tells a similar story; police say only that Nancy’s plans for “his future mental health treatment” are being reviewed in the search for a motive. Though most reports say she had no ties to Sandy Hook Elementary, Flashman says Nancy Lanza volunteered with kindergartners there last year. Cops say an 11-year-old boy caught with a gun at school in Utah told administrators he brought the weapon to defend himself in case of a Connecticut-style attack. School officials say the boy has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a dangerous weapon and aggravated assault after other students told police he pointed the handgun at them on a field at a suburban Salt Lake City elementary school. Officials say school staff confronted the boy in class after hearing he had a weapon and seized the unloaded gun and ammunition from his backpack yesterday. SOURCE: DM

The wife of a Charlotte Bobcats player was among six people arrested after fights broke out outside of a bar at the NC Music Factory. The fight took place around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Club Label after a party that had been hosted by Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul. Among those arrested was Jamie Patrice Thomas, 26, (seen above) who is the wife of Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas. Three other women also were arrested: Shassity Stevenson, 28; Sascha Smith, 22; and Morgan Williams, 22. Jamie Thomas faces multiple charges, including driving while impaired and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Police say they were called to the night club after receiving multiple calls about a security car who had been struck by a vehicle, as well as a disturbance and robbery in the parking lot. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is going for the block against his baby mama who’s trying to hire a forensic investigator to comb through his finances all in an attempt to squeeze more child support out of him. Lewis and his baby mama Sharnika Kelly are in a nasty battle over child support for their young son — and earlier this year Sharnika asked a judge to throw out their current agreement, claiming when she signed the deal back in 2001, Ray never disclosed his full income. Sharnika even asked to have a forensic investigator come in and determine how much the NFL star is actually worth — in hopes to have the current $3,500-a-month order increased. Now Ray is putting his foot down and recently filed legal docs in Florida asking a judge to bar his baby mama from looking through his finances . Lamar Odom wants his kids to get taste of reality television and is asking a judge to allow his kids to appear on “Khloe & Lamar.” Two years ago, Khloe K’s hubby sued his baby mama Liza Morales, seen below, over visitation and support of their two kids and now Lamar is going to court to force Liza to allow the kids to appear on his reality show. The Clippers star reportedly wants to adjust his custody deal with Liza so he could have the children appear on his E! reality spinoff show. Today South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tapped Rep. Tim Scott to replace outgoing GOP Sen. Jim DeMint. Scott’s appointment is historic: He is the first African American to represent South Carolina in the U.S. Senate since Reconstruction. DeMint is resigning in January to become president of the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. His replacement will serve until a special election is held in 2014. Scott, 47, was elected in 2010 to represent a U.S. House district in the Charleston area. A former member of the South Carolina state Legislature, Scott quickly became a favorite of House Speaker John Boehner and GOP officials in Washington and served in a leadership position for the 2010 freshman class. A man who killed his first daughter in 1995 and spent 11 years in jail was sentenced Thursday for killing a second daughter after his release. Daron Duane Davis, of Greer, South Carolina was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. Davis previously pleaded guilty to homicide by child abuse in the death of his child, Sondaria Davis. She died after being beaten a month before her first birthday. Davis was sentenced to 20 years in prison. His girlfriend, Sondaria’s mother, was also charged and was sentenced to probation. Davis was released from prison in 2006 after serving about 11 years of his sentence. He was arrested again in January 2011 after his 5-month-old daughter Keris Davis died of multiple head injuries from blunt force trauma and shaking. At the time of Davis’ second arrest, Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins said sentencing laws have stiffened since Davis’ previous homicide by chil

Two 14-year-old boys who allegedly fatally shot a young mother in an argument over a packet of cigarettes posted pictures of themselves brandishing guns on Facebook hours after the crime. Police are still searching for Todavia Cleckley and Marcus Velasquez, who will be tried as adults for the murder in Beaver Hills, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon. A third boy, 13-year-old Kyle Goosby, is already in custody and has been charged with conspiracy to commit homicide. One of the teenagers allegedly shot 22-year-old Kayla Peterson around 3pm on Saturday as she stood outside her home with her boyfriend, William Bailey. The boys had followed Bailey from a nearby store asking for cigarettes and got into an argument with him and Peterson, according to court documents. One teen pulled out a gun and fired a single shot, Beaver County police Chief Charles R. Jones Jr. said. Peterson, who had a young daughter, was flown to Alleghe
