Universal Zulu Nation's End of Summer Family Fun Day Cookout Sucessful
The Universal Zulu Nation , Hiphop's first and only true organization; hosted their "End Of Summer BBQ Cookout" at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem on Saturday. Members of the Zulu Nation and residents of the community convene upon the park for a peaceful free cookout. Children played in the water sprinklers and the playground while musicians on the other side of the park played African music. Presented by The Guillermo Morales-Assata Shakur Community/Student Center & The Universal Zulu Nation , The End Of Summer Cookout was hosted by Queen Amanda and was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but went on to around 10:30 p.m. In attendance by Afrika Bambaata , Mick Benzo, Amad Henderson, Pow Wow of the Soul Sonic Force , DJ Yoda, David Bolds from David Bolds Booking and Zulu Nation Minister Of Information, Quadeer "M.C.
