L.A. Clipper's Owner Donald Sterling: What He Said and What He Meant

Image
I'm not surprised at the comments made my the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. But I am surprised at how a lot of Black people are responding. Unfortunately, Black people seem to me hung up on being loved by racists, and will do anything to get that false sense of love from a bunch of fools who don't matter, and are just a few years from dying off and and out anyway. One of the problems with the whole Donald Sterling thing is that Mr. Sterling is not a white man. He's a piece of crap. Let's get that clear right now. The dictionary can explain further, if you need to know. IT BOTHERS ME A LOT THAT YOU WANT TO BROADCAST THAT YOU'RE ASSOCIATING WITH BLACK PEOPLE What Donald meant when he made this comment was: " Please don't show the world what a lot of women dating or married to white men really desire: black men". (When his girlfriend told him that he, himself associates with Black people, he replies) I'M NOT YOU, AND YOU'

Donald Sterling says his girlfriend should not publicize her friendship with Magic Johnson or other minorities: "It bothers me a lot if you want to broadcast that you are associating with black people."   Los Angeles Clippers owner  Donald Sterling has been caught on tape telling his girlfriend not to publicly associate with minorities or to bring them to his games. In nine minutes of audio obtained by TMZ , the team owner and real estate mogul is heard in an argument with girlfriend V. Stiviano over her friendships with minorities, particularly Johnson. The spat was apparently sparked after Stiviano posted a photo of herself with Johnson on Instagram. (Stiviano is of African-American and Mexican descent.) Sterling asked why she was "broadcasting" her associations with minorities via pictures on social media, saying she should keep such things private. Teen Girl Stabbed To Death for Rejecting Prom Date

Image
Milford, CT - A 16-year-old honor's student was stabbed to death inside a Connecticut high school Friday, and police were investigating whether a boy attacked her because she turned down an invitation to be his prom date. Maren Sanchez was stabbed in a hallway of Jonathan Law High School in Milford, about an hour's drive from New York City, around 7:15 a.m. Staff members and paramedics performed life-saving measures on the girl, but she was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said. The 16-year-old boy was taken into custody. His name wasn't released because of juvenile offender laws, said Police Chief Keith Mello. Imani Langston, who describes herself as one of Sanchez's best friends, said students were gathered in an auditorium when a teacher came and told them had Sanchez been stabbed. "She basically just explained to us that Maren Sanchez got stabbed in the throat for saying no about goi

Georgia law allows guns in some schools, bars, churches

Image
By Devon M. Sayers and Eliott C. McLaughlin , CNN Ellijay, Georgia (CNN) -- Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed a wide-ranging gun bill into law Wednesday that has critics howling and proponents applauding. House Bill 60, or the Safe Carry Protection Act of 2014 -- which opponents have nicknamed the "guns everywhere bill" -- specifies where Georgia residents can carry weapons. Included are provisions that allow residents who have concealed carry permits to take guns into some bars, churches, school zones, government buildings and certain parts of airports. GeorgiaCarry, which lobbied for the bill, calls it "meaningful pro-gun legislation," despite it being watered down from the group's perspective. Still, the group has lauded the legislation, which will go into effect July 1. Americans for Responsible Solutions opposed the bill, calling it "extremism in action." Wednesday's signing came at an open-air picnic area along a
