Two white Atlanta police officers who pulled over and questioned entertainment mogul Tyler Perry have been cleared of racial profiling by an internal investigation, according to documents released Tuesday. Just after noon on February 24, Perry left his studio in southwest Atlanta alone in a white Porsche Panamera. As the actor and director later explained in a lengthy Facebook post, Perry made an illegal left turn to make sure he wasn’t being followed . Two Atlanta police officers in a patrol car pulled Perry over and questioned him for about six minutes before letting him go without issuing a ticket. Perry described the incident as “hostile” and that he felt unsafe. One of the officers continued to “badger him” during questioning, the entertainer said. Former Miami Dolphins player Chad Johnson has been formally charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery Wednesday after his August arrest for allegedly head-butting his wife, prosecutors said. The Broward State Attorney’s Office filed the charge against Johnson on Wednesday. Johnson’s arraignment was set for Thursday at 8:30 a.m., according to online court records. He was expected to file a written plea of not guilty and was not expected to be in court, prosecutors said. The marriage between Johnson and Evelyn Lozada imploded on Aug. 11 after an argument between the two ended with Lozada being treated at a hospital for lacerations to her head. According to Davie Police, Lozada found a receipt for condoms and confronted Johnson about it at dinner. Hundreds of bystanders swarmed the scene of a high-speed pursuit in South Los Angeles Wednesday as police tried to apprehend alleged robbers who were tossing money out of their getaway vehicle. “This isn’t something we see every day,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Capt. Mike Parker said. “This definitely had some unique aspects to it.” More than a dozen times during the pursuit, handfuls of cash were thrown out of the backseat window of a black Volvo SUV that authorities had pursued from the scene of an alleged armed bank robbery in Santa Clarita. “If they thought that by throwing money out the window, that that would distract us or have people get in the way and block us — they’re going to run out of money,” Parker said “We’re not going to run out of sheriff’s deputies. Philadelphia Police needs the public’s help to track down the monster. They made a surveillance video public that they say shows the rapist as he approached the victim and then began beating and raping her. The “violent, unprovoked” attack happened just after midnight Aug. 29, after the victim, 24, dropped a friend off at a bus stop on Frankford Avenue, police Special Victims Unit Capt. John Darby told reporters.
