WASHINGTON, D.C.  - A D.C. Metro transit cop has been charged with providing material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ( ISIS ), officials say. Associated Press WINSLOW, AZ - Video from an Arizona police officer's body camera shows the woman he fatally shot in March had medical scissors in her hand. Footage was released Wednesday, days after Winslow Officer Austin Shipley was cleared in the shooting. Shipley was responding to a shoplifting call  when he fired at Loreal Tsingine. In the video, Shipley tries to restrain Tsingine, but she breaks free and falls to the ground. She gets up and walks quickly toward Shipley with the scissors in her right hand, pointed down. The video was silent during the shooting. Police say Tsingine refused commands to stop resisting, get on the ground and drop the scissors. The shooting of the Navajo woman led tribal officials to urge the U.S. Justice Department to investigate the treatment of American Indians.

But it’s about something that is affecting this election, and will affect much more than this election if we don’t do something about it. When Ronald Reagan left office in 1989, America knew—and the world knew—the value of individual liberty and limited government. Whether you lived in East Berlin, Germany or East Bernard, Texas—whether you were a multi-generation Texan or an immigrant from Vi...
