SCHOOL SHOOTER SNAPPED BECAUSE MOM PLANNED TO COMMIT HIM

 Investigators have yet to offer a motive for Adam Lanza’s deadly rampage, but a Newtown resident offers one theory to …Lanza lost it because his mother planned to commit him against his will.


Joshua Flashman, the son of a Newtown pastor, says he has been told that Nancy Lanza was petitioning the court to get conservatorship over her son so she could then send him to a mental institution, and Adam was “really, really angry” about it. “I think this could have been it, what set him off.”


Another resident tells a similar story; police say only that Nancy’s plans for “his future mental health treatment” are being reviewed in the search for a motive.

Though most reports say she had no ties to Sandy Hook Elementary, Flashman says Nancy Lanza volunteered with kindergartners there last year. Adam may have believed that “his mom loved him less than she loved the kids, loved the school,” he says.

The shooter cut off all ties with his father, Peter Lanza, seen below, in 2010, following his parents’ 2009 divorce, a source said. The couple separated in 2001, and Adam saw his father every week in the ensuing years. The source says Peter hadn’t seen or heard from his son since 2010.


A close friend of Nancy’s said Adam was a vegan … because he “didn’t want to hurt animals.” WOW!

Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons.
