Staten Island NY Woman Says Murdered Cop Slammed Her Head Against Concrete

A woman who's post about her violent interaction with NYPD officer Rafael Ramos went viral, has been attacked on social media for posting her views on the recent murder saying "Karma is always watching!"

Asiaa Melrose said that two years ago, officer Ramos "constantly slammed" her head into the concrete, leaving her with "non-stop headaches and knots." Miss Melrose says her bruises "weren't pretty," and that she is "not saying him getting killed was ok, but Karma is Definitely a Bitch, kus [sic] he could have killed me!"

On her Facebook page, Miss Melrose goes on to say: "LIFE LESSON::: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO TO OTHERS CAUSE KARMA ALWAYS WATCHING."

Melrose asked: "At what point of time is it ever ok for a male cop to put his hands on a female? The cops are trained to serve and protect us, and that day officer Ramos failed to do so! I am not mad, and I have never wished nothing bad on him. Not even death! I believe you do not fight violence with violence, so we let the police handle it, and for years they swept it under the rug. I decided to speak on this now because years went by and nothing was done. I was in total shock when I heard he was killed. No, I was not happy. I was just speaking about the altercation that occurred between me and officer Ramos! I never cared that this went viral, but since it did, this will not be swept under the rug no more!" 

Miss Melrose also added: "No matter what, no male cop is allowed at anytime to touch a female nor less [sic] slam head to floors ! That's why they have women police to handle that!"

Melrose said her post was not intended to slander Ramos' name, but she believes he should have been punished two years ago for his crime against her. She reiterated her stance on karma saying: "Karma really comes back 10 times harder! When my head was being constantly slammed to the concrete, no punishment or penalty was held against him. Just like When Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, Sean Bell, Eric Garner etc. were all killed by cops and no action by cops were taken. No justice was served. But soon as a cop is killed, they take all action! Mhmm now you tell me"

We've reached out to Miss Melrose for comment about her allegations. At the time of this writing, she has not responded.

Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons.
