Zulu Nation Minister Of Info organizes Ferguson solidarity protest

With the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri sparking heated debates nationwide, Universal Zulu Nation member and Minister Of Information Quadeer "M.C. Spice" Shakur responds this Friday in Boston with the "Boston for Ferguson" protest. Young Black men have been murdered by policeman for years, and many community leaders and members nationwide are demanding a change in police policy. Residents of Ferguson have asked the police department to release the name of the police officer responsible for the death of Michael Brown to no avail. The Police Chief, Jon Belmar.

18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed while walking in the middle of the street. Witnesses say Michael was approached by police in an SUV who grabbed him, then shot him from the car window. The officer then exited the vehicle and shot the young man multiple times more. The group "Anonymous" promised an all-out social media assault on the police department and the county's website, posting the home of Chief Belmar and the full dispatch tapes of the incident which negates the accounts by the police.

This Friday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m., Quadeer Shakur aka "M.C. Spice" and members of the community will convene at Grove Hall Mecca in the heart of Grove Hall, Dorchester. The "mecca" is the center of Grove Hall near the Nation Of Islam's Muhammad's Mosque Number 11. The protest is organized for the purpose of addressing the issue of police brutality and to demand Massachusetts Legislatures, Congressional Representatives and Senators support and encourage Missouri in introducing legislation entitled 'Mike Brown's Law,' that will set strict national standards for police conduct and misbehavior in the USA."
