Randy Muhammad possible future first Puerto Rican leader over Nation of Islam Mosque

UPDATE (July 18, 2016) - New Student Minister of Boston Mosque No. 11, Brother Randy Muhammad has been selected as Minister Emeritus Don Muhammads first choice to stand in his place as the New Minister over Boston Mosque No. 11. If formerly selected, Randy Muhammad could probably become the Nation of Islam's first Puerto Rican leader over a major Nation of Islam Mosque. 
Minister Randy Muhammad was personally recognized by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at Mosque #11 in Boston on June 26th.
In attendance was Don Muhammad, one of the Nation of Islam's most influential and successful Ministers, who himself served as a consultant to the NOI, and was a longtime follower of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Known to some as "the unofficial mayor of Boston",
whose influences have included the Boston Police Department (under Police Commissioner William Bratton), the local NAACP and many local and state politicians. It is known throughout the community that when Minister Don Muhammad called, you dropped what you were doing. During a believers session on Sunday, June 26th conducted by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the long time Assistant recognized Student Minister Randy Muhammad for Mosque No. 11 and the NOI's Prison Ministry Chaplain for the state of Massachusetts. Min Randy, whose parents were born in Puerto Rico, and who may probably be the first Hispanic in history appointed to run a major NOI Mosque in a major U.S. city. After pouring thousands of dollars into her decrepit house, Tocco Collins made the heartbreaking discovery that she had been seriously scammed. Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons. The two co-produced a handful of tracks for Jimmy Spicer – including the oft-sampled "Money (Dollar Bill Y'All)"  – before helping make hip-hop history with Run-D.M.C.'s
