Back in 1990, Donnie Wahlberg came through on a promise to make his little brother Mark Wahlberg a household name. He put together a band: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch and gave Mark a shot at some of the New Kids On The Block fame. Mark broke out the box with the first single, "Good Vibrations" and shot to number one on the billboard charts, selling 500,000 copies (gold status) and growing to sell over one million copies (platinum status) for Inerscope Records. Mark's second single, "Wild Side" went gold and the album went triple platinum. Both the album's hits were penned by yours truly. Some people seem to always look like they're refreshed and ready to seize the day; others have bags under their eyes that could dwarf some of the luggage that comes out of JFK airport. These dark circles or bags are formed by fat and fluid that settles into the area, and there are a number of reasons they appear, including genetics, aging, fluid retention, and allergies. Moreover, they can appear darker under the eyes because the skin under the eyes is especially thin; this thin skin sits on top of areas that are dark red or purple in color; and the area is more likely to become puffy, casting shadows that make the bags look even more pronounced. The way the genetics play out, some people are born into families where the skin color under the eyes is likely to be darker or bags are more likely to appear earlier in life. If you're like me and you grew up on the taste of Coca-Cola... well, I can't lie, I've messed around with Pepsi here and there, but I'm a Coke lover at heart [Cola, that is]. I was told the Coca-Cola Zero was geared toward men, and that men HATE anything that says "fat-free" or has an after-taste. That being said, Coke Zero is surprisingly just as tasty as regular Coke. I seriously can't tell the difference, but I don't have to worry about how many I drink. They'll never go to the gut. Thanks, Coke... you had me from day one, you still got me after all these years.

On May 1, 2011 shortly after 11:00 p.m., President Barack Obama officially announced the death of Osama Bin Laden. The al Qeada terrorist leader responsible for attack on America on September 11, 2001 was shot and killed inside of a compound in Pakistan, right next door to Afghanistan. The military reported Bin Laden was shot in the left eye during a shootout with CIA agents. His DNA was matched to DNA on file, and his body was identified by his young wife. It has also been reported that Osama Bin Laden's body was buried at sea shortly afterward. The President's announcement IN FULL is as follows: "Good evening. This story is close to home. Matter of fact, this story IS home. Now, at first I wanted to keep everything hush-hush, but I figured I'd be very transparent and allow the world to look into an issue that has torn apart a lot of families over the years. We have all experienced or know someone who has experienced someone who's child crossed the line of disrespect and went as far as cursing their parents or even fighting them. My case is no different. Here's the story: My oldest daughter began acting strange around Memorial Day of 2009. My daughter lied to MY mother about a family issue, and I asked her in front of my mother why she lied. My daughter responded with curse words and stormed out the house, bumping and pushing everyone out of her way and cursing at the top of her lungs.
