When they tried to make contact with Bascue he loaded the magazines into his guns and put one of them to his head, according to Rios. A Brooklyn woman scored a judge’s approval to legally change her relationship status to “single” via Facebook. In a landmark ruling, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper is allowing a nurse named Ellanora Baidoo to serve her elusive husband with divorce papers via a Facebook message. Baidoo, 26, “is granted permission serve defendant with the divorce summons using a private message through Facebook,” with her lawyer messaging Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku through her account, Cooper wrote. “This transmittal shall be repeated by plaintiff’s attorney to defendant once a week for three consecutive weeks or until acknowledged” by her hard-to-find hubby. “I think it’s new law, and it’s necessary,” said Baidoo’s lawyer, Andrew Spinnell. WASHINGTON — The man accused of killing members of a Washington, D.C., family and taking $40,000 may have used some of that money to take a taxi ride from New York back to the nation's capital, according to the New York Daily News . Metropolitan Police sought Daron Wint, 34, after he was identified Wednesday from DNA left in the crust of a pizza. Wint allegedly had the food delivered to the $4.5 million mansion while he held the Savopoulos family and their housekeeper hostage the night of May 13-14. Savvas Savopoulos, 46, his wife, Amy, 47, their 10-year-old son Philip and housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa were found dead May 14 from blunt force and pointed force trauma in the three-story mansion after it had been set ablaze. Police said an employee of Savopoulos delivered a package containing $40,000 to the residence the morning of the incident. Walmart made Green Dot.  Now it’s making Blue bird.  The low-cost merchant has long offered a full suite of payments products to its customers.  From international money transfer to bill-pay to check cashing and prepaid, Walmart has been a pioneer of financial services for the emerging middle class.  In 2010 a venture-backed company originally called NextEstate went public largely due to its exclusive deal with the retailer to distribute its general purpose, reloadable, branded prepaid card.  At some point, after the IPO, and after Walmart financial services executive, Jane Thompson, moved on, Green Dot’s deal became non-exclusive.  Walmart did a deal with American Express, which has made a massive investment to market its nascent prepaid capabilities, and dealt a massive blow to the value of Green Dot.
