Minister Farrakhan to address students at Tennessee State University - Nashville, TN on Friday November 2 at 6pm Central Time Live Via Webcast

Nashville, TN - The Het-Heru Sorority Inc. and The Nation of Islam Student Association will host its first annual Collegiate Black United Summit International Conference (B.U.S.I) with keynote speaker the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan this Friday, November 2, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Tennessee State University Gentry Complex Center. 
 
The program is also scheduled to be streamed live via world-wide webcast starting at 6pm Central Time by the FinalCall.com News Staff at

The free summit will share their unique approach of evaluating past & existing issues and offering solutions related to the core channels of leadership, education and careers in Black America with college students from HBCU's, underrepresented students from various campuses and local Tennessee residents.
The B.U.S.I. is a part of the outgrowth of the Black College Tour where the Minister Farrakhan addressed audiences with the purpose of education and how to make your education work for you. The turnout for the April 12th Nashville visit launched a demand from the students of Tennessee State University to invite him back. Continuing their mutual commitment to their communities, the Het-Heru Sorority and The Nation of Islam Student Association designed this summit with the minister's promise to accept their invite in mind.

Panelist will include community leaders and students from Meharry Medical College, Fisk University and Tennessee State University. 
This is our time now in history to rectify our problems as institutions of higher learning and solidify our place in the future as productive citizens and and a beacon of light for our community. This conference is the beginning of the end of our sorrows.

After pouring thousands of dollars into her decrepit house, Tocco Collins made the heartbreaking discovery that she had been seriously scammed. The mother of 12 had waited patiently for her landlords to deliver on their promises to fix the house’s holes, broken windows and burned out light box, CBS Atlanta reports. But after seven months, Collins learned that the phonies she had been paying $600 a month in rent didn’t own the home and had also skipped town. Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons. The two co-produced a handful of tracks for Jimmy Spicer – including the oft-sampled "Money (Dollar Bill Y'All)"  – before helping make hip-hop history with Run-D.M.C.'s ...
