“GET OFF YO AZZ!” MOM MURDERS SON FOR BEING A “COUCH POTATO”

A Houston mother has been charged with murder for the shooting death of her 19-year-old son, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.

Nesha Kraidieh and her son, Phillip Vanshawn Apostolo, argued twice at their home Monday deputies said. During the first argument, Kraidieh said her son pushed her. The two began to argue again later and Kradieh allegedly shot her son in the head while he was sitting on the couch.
Those who knew Apostolo described the young man as “troubled.” They say the mother and son had a “rocky relationship” and police were frequently called to the house. “Oh his mom, they argued because she didn’t like him doing certain things, certain people at his house,” said neighbor Flemmon Hightower. “And he disobeyed her, so there was conflict between them.”

Neighbors also said Kraidieh’s estranged husband, a Houston police officer, moved out of the home several months ago because he also had issues with Apostolo. The teen went on a rampage inside the home during a violent outburst last year. On April 2, 2012, court documents state Apostolo damaged two televisions, an entertainment center, the garage door, a bedroom door, a bedroom set, a wall frame and a table at his mother’s home in a fit of rage.

He was charged with criminal mischief, but the case against him was dismissed because Kraidieh decided not to pursue charges. Apostolo, seen below, was arrested for criminal trespassing another time and sentenced to three days confinement. Kraidieh filed a restraining order against her son, but dropped it a month later.
Kraudieh has been released from jail on bond. She is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
