70 YEAR OLD WAKES UP & CATCHES MAN SEXIN WIFE & KILLS HIM!

Neighbors say they didn’t hear the shots fired, or the police cruisers that followed. “It was very quiet,” says neighbor Courtney Dagou.

“It’s like it didn’t even happen.”

But what the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says did happen: 70-year-old Ralph Wald walked out of his bedroom late Sunday night and found his 42-year-old wife having sex with another man, 32-year-old Walter Lee Conley.


“The wife and the victim knew each other,” says HCSO spokeswoman Debbie Carter. “They used to be roommates.” What reportedly happened next horrifies Wald’s neighbors. Deputies say Wald walked back to the bedroom, grabbed a handgun, and fired at Conley several times, killing him instantly.

“Everyone has their own issues in their own home. Everyone argues. To take someone’s life… that’s another scenario,” Dagou says. After the shooting, Wald apparently called Hillsborough County dispatchers to report the alleged crime. “Basically told them that he had just shot someone who was ‘fornicating’ with his wife,” Carter says.



According to Carter, Wald laid down his handgun inside his home and waited for deputies to get there, even staying on the phone with dispatchers until their arrival. After being read his Miranda Rights, deputies say he confessed to the shooting. 


Wald is charged with second degree murder and is being held without bond. Several knocks on the door at Wald’s home, which he has owned for decades, went unanswered. Records show he and his wife have been married since last Halloween.

Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons. The two co-produced a handful of tracks for Jimmy Spicer – including the oft-sampled "Money (Dollar Bill Y'All)"  – before helping make hip-hop history with Run-D.M.C.'s
