THE INSIDER TV HOST MICHAEL YO SELLS OUT OBAMA DAUGHTERS COON STYLE

On the Insider TV show, which aired Tuesday, October 14, 2014, host Michel Yo seemed a little upset that Sasha and Malia Obama were named some of Time Magazine’s 25 Most Influential Teens for 2014. The host who claims he’s a comedian barked: “What makes them influential? They haven’t said anything. Moving along.” If Mr. Yo looked up the word influential it has absolutely nothing to do with what is said, but more like what is done.

Maybe he forgot how the President’s oldest daughter served as an intern for Halle Berry. Many young women who profess to be actors would love that job – with any actor. Can we celebrate our young black women for any accomplishments? If my daughter received a nod from the likes of Time Magazine, I wouldn’t question it. My daughter is quite accomplished at her school.

It’s disturbing that a grown man who is always seen clowning and vying for the top groupie position whenever a non-influential celebrity is in his face, decided to use his fifteen minutes of fame to do exactly what the Culture Vultures have always done: defame the character of the innocent. What’s interesting is that in less than twenty years, there will be no Michael Yo, and perhaps the next thing he’d be known for is personal assistant to one of the Obama girls.

Michael Yo, Sasha and Malia have more of a chance at advancing in this world than you ever would. Here’s one other thing to consider: your show airs during family time but I guarantee every parent feels the same way I do about your subtle attack. It only made you look more stupid than you already are. You owe the Obama girls an apology. You owe young Black girls an apology. Us Black men have a responsibility and you have dropped the ball big time. You should apologize for your negative and ignorant comment.

I’d be quite surprised if you did apologize. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you stood your ground on your position. It would certainly be bad journalism if you chose to remain a diva about it. Be a man for once and choose the right road. You screwed up and you know you have.

After pouring thousands of dollars into her decrepit house, Tocco Collins made the heartbreaking discovery that she had been seriously scammed. Run-D.M.C. Producer Larry Smith Dead at 63

Larry Smith, producer of some of the most cherished hip-hop records of the Eighties, including Run-D.M.C. 's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 63. Radio host Combat Jack broke the news on Twitter , writing: "Just spoke to his family. RIP Larry Smith, the original King of Beats who passed away last night." A Queens native, Smith began his career as a session musician and quickly struck up a partnership with Kurtis Blow after playing bass on "Christmas Rappin'."  Smith would continue to play on a number of Blow's tracks, co-writing a few as well, including the MC's breakthrough record, "The Breaks,"  which became the first rap record to be certified gold. Smith then began working with Blow's manager at the time, Russell Simmons. The two co-produced a handful of tracks for Jimmy Spicer – including the oft-sampled "Money (Dollar Bill Y'All)"  – before helping make hip-hop history with Run-D.M.C.'s
