16-year-old student shot outside John D. Obryant school

BOSTON —A 16-year-old high school student was injured in a shooting in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood on Monday, according to police.
The shooting happened near the John O'Bryant School on Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury, police said. 
The teen, a student at nearby Madison Park High School, was transported to Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. 
Three schools were placed in safe mode after the shooting: the Timilty School, Madison Park and the O'Bryant School.
