Man wanted in Oklahoma homicide case is arrested in Arizona

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Authorities say a man wanted in connection with a homicide in Oklahoma has been arrested in northeastern Arizona.
U.S. Marshals Service officials say 19-year-old Kevin Nall Jr. was taken into custody Tuesday evening in Holbrook.
Nall was wanted by police in Altus, Oklahoma.
Authorities say Nall allegedly shot someone about a dozen times during a Sept. 1 confrontation and then fled the scene. The victim died from his wounds.
Police say Nall left Oklahoma and was traveling through Arizona in an effort to avoid arrest.
The U.S. Marshals taskforce was able to determine Nall may be in Holbrook and surveillance spotted him at a restaurant in town. He was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.
Nall has been booked into the Navajo County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
