Police Arrest Man Accused Of Raping And Impregnating 13-Year-Old Girl During Funeral Service At Church

A Pahokee man could spend years behind bars for a heartless act he allegedly committed. A police arrest report says that Andre Brown, 26, is being held without bond for raping and impregnating a 13-year-old girl during a funeral service held at a church.
Brown is said to have committed the act on April 30, 2016, but the girl failed to raise the alarm over fears of being blamed for the incident, reads the report.
According to the girl, who was familiar with her attacker, Brown grabbed her by the hand and led her to a church women’s restroom, locked the door behind them and committed the evil act. Speaking with Palm Beach County sheriff’s detectives, the girl said Brown took her to a stall for handicapped users, where he raped her.
In July, an unidentified person took the victim to a hospital over concerns that “she was not acting right.” The following day, a doctor discovered that the young girl was pregnant. She would later reveal that Brown was responsible for her pregnancy.
Although Brown denied the allegation, a DNA test confirmed his responsibility.
The question that many people are asking is what could’ve happened had the girl not become pregnant.
In another case that was reported in January, a 52-year-old man repeatedly raped a 13-year-old girl, ending up impregnating her. Just like in Brown’s case, the rape case was only discovered after the victim was admitted to a hospital for medical check-up and eventually found to have been pregnant.
After her pregnancy was discovered, the girl and her family were interviewed by investigators and she admitted that in 2015 she had s*x with a man by the name William. In one of her rape counts, the girl says the man, identified as William Piol Makuei, 52, offered her something to drink and after she drunk it, she fell asleep only to wake up later to find herself naked and bleeding at the front. The girl said the man hailed from Sudan and was in the same refugee community as her family.
Investigators proceeded to conduct a DNA test using a cigarette butt dropped by the suspected rapist only for the results to show that Makuei was the one who impregnated the girl.
Makuei’s case, just like Brown’s, may also not have been unearthed were it not for the pregnancy.
