Zulu Nation Info Minister will police the police with drones

Quadeer "M.C. Spice" Shakur, Minister of Information for the Universal Zulu Nation has founded the American Drones Association. The non-profit organization's slogan is "policing the police from the friendly skies." Shakur and his wife, Cashawna aka "Cash" were inspired to form the organization after the clash with police in #Ferguson, Missouri and the protestors of that community. During six days and nights of unrest after the murder of a young Michael Brown by officer Darren Wilson, police imposed curfews and even no-fly zones over the area while they tear gassed, harassed and intimidated people of the community.

The American Drones Association has already begun zoning in on police activity in the Black communities where members of those communities have registered complaints and been harassed by police. The American Drones Association plans to have 100 zones in each major city in the United States and have contacted private owners to be a part of the network of individuals who will police the police. Shakur has purchased 100 drones and will have them fly over Boston's Black neighborhoods of Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury and Hyde Park to ensure the interactions with police and citizens are accounted for.

"We will exercise our right to free speech as outlined in the 1st Amendment, and that includes our right to record police officers while they are doing their job in public. We have no desire to follow or record police officers on their private time and will respect privacy laws everywhere. However, we must make sure the officers of this country are held accountable for any wrongdoing on their part and this is just one of our proactive measures", says Founder, Quadeer Shakur.

American Drones Association will also add citizens with hand held recording devices, phone cameras and professional video cameras in logging their data with the association. Shakur says those in the network will be "well versed" on privacy laws and their rights to record police at work in public. The network will immediately store all video interaction with police on separate networks as backup in case police decide to illegally confiscate or detain any camera or tamper with the video files.

Quadeer adds "It is our sincere hope that police officers step up to the plate and do their jobs professionally and respectfully. We should not have to resort to being this proactive in protecting ourselves from a police state in these United States. But we are for the people first. Not just a Black people. But we the people."
